From the very beginning of RAWfish, we’ve always had a connection to Lund. Whether it was through using their boats, working alongside their staff on other projects, or simply admiring the brand. The past 10 years of RAWfish, Lund has always been part of our world. Then, in the fall of 2022, that connection became something more. The Lund team reached out for a one-day shoot to capture content for one of their boats. We were ecstatic. We knew this was more than just a project, it was an opportunity to show them what we could do and how we worked.

That first shoot opened the door. In the summer of 2023, we were invited to be part of the large-scale Lund Boats photoshoot. We split the production with another company that had been handling their content for years, but even in that shared space, we built strong relationships with their team. It was an incredible experience working alongside them, capturing the essence of the brand, and collaborating with the talented individuals who bring Lund Boats to life.

The momentum didn’t stop there. Throughout the rest of the summer, we continued working with Lund on additional shoots, strengthening our connection and proving that our creative styles and work ethic were a perfect match. Then, in 2024, we took things to the next level. RAWfish fully owned and executed the entire summer shoot for the MY25 Lund Content: handling all videography, photography, and content creation. It was a milestone moment for both of our teams, built on years of trust, hard work, and a shared commitment to excellence.

MY25 Pre-Production: The Foundation of Success

The journey for our MY25 content began in the fall of 2023 when our teams came together for a series of pre-production meetings. We dove deep into planning every detail: scripts, shot lists, equipment needs, schedules, talent, and everything required for the 11-day shoot. These months of preparation set the stage for effortless execution, ensuring no creative opportunity was overlooked.

But these meetings go beyond logistics, they align visions. Lund Boats has always been an innovative and passionate brand, and their enthusiasm matched our own as we meticulously planned how to capture the essence of their new and updated boat models for the year. What started as a single shoot has transformed into a seamless creative partnership, built on trust, collaboration, and a shared drive for excellence.

The Shoot: Long Days, Early Mornings, and Creative Excellence

By spring of 2024, the shoot was in full swing. For 11 days, our six-person RAWfish Creative Group team worked tirelessly in rotating groups, gathering content that covered every aspect of Lund’s brand. From social media videos and product feature highlights to commercial content and brand videos, we left no stone unturned.

Our routine? A relentless cycle: shoot, eat, drop footage, edit, repeat. Early mornings and little sleep were balanced by the shared energy and dedication of both the RAWfish and Lund teams. Our collaboration isn’t just functional, it’s dynamic. Smooth rotations and constant communication kept production flowing without a hitch, even amidst the inevitable challenges of such an ambitious project.
